2026 GMC Sierra EV Lineup Expands With Two Cheaper Models

After launching in Canada last fall as a 2025 model exclusively in top-line Denali trim, the GMC Sierra EV is set to add a pair of more affordable options for 2026.

Canadian pricing will be announced at a later date, but here’s what we can tell you for now.

Sierra EV Elevation

First, the new Elevation will become the gateway to the Sierra EV lineup. Highlights include the MultiPro tailgate, available MultiPro Midgate, power-operated front trunk, 16.8-inch centre touchscreen, available 7.2kW Energy Transfer off-boarding power system, and available Super Cruise hands-free driving technology.

The truck rides on 18-inch machine-face wheels with gloss black pockets and features an After Dark (black) interior.

Sierra EV AT4

Meanwhile, the Sierra EV AT4 is the off-road alternative some customers were looking for. This one stands out with a lifted coil suspension, 35-inch all-terrain tires and two inches of extra ground clearance. It’s also the only model with Terrain Mode, which is designed to provide maximum handling, torque and control away from paved roads.

The Forest Storm (dark grey) cabin is exclusive to the AT4. Additionally, 4-Wheel Steer (featuring CrabWalk) and Super Cruise both come standard, here. The truck is also available with 12,200 lbs of max towing.

By the way, the 2026 Sierra EV comes with more colour choices than ever following the addition of Glacier White, Coastal Dune, Deep Bronze and Magnus Matte.

Three Batteries

Similar to the Chevrolet Silverado EV, three different batteries can be specified including Standard, Extended and Max Range. Elevation will be available with a Standard or Extended Range battery, while AT4 will be available with an Extended or Max Range battery. The Denali trim will offer all three battery options. Official range estimates will be announced closer to launch. We’ll update this story when they are.
