2025 Jeep Wagoneer Overland Special Edition Will Take You Farther Off-Road
Large families that can afford a luxury SUV but also need off-road capability can turn to the Jeep Wagoneer, even more so now with the Overland Special Edition announced today on the eve of the New York Auto Show.
As a direct response to the Ford Expedition Tremor and Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro, this new Wagoneer is the most rugged and most adventurous to date, no question about that.
It all starts with 32-inch all-terrain tires with 20-inch aluminum wheels, Jeep’s Quadra-Drive II 4x4 system with an electronic limited slip differential (ELSD) and a two-speed transfer case, a Quadra-Lift air suspension with semi-active damping enabling up to 10 inches of ground clearance, as well as three steel skid plates that protect the front axle, transfer case and fuel tank.

A new Rock mode is available via the Selec-Terrain traction management system, while Selec-Speed Control automatically regulates vehicle speed when climbing up or down a slope, allowing drivers to focus on steering. The Overland Special Edition also includes two front two hooks, one removable rear tow hook and a Heavy Duty Trailer Tow Package increasing maximum towing capacity up to 10,000 lbs.
Other content comes from the Series II Carbide model. However, there are some more unique features, such as a black roof (first time on the Wagoneer), roof rail crossbars, all-weather floor mats and a tri-pane panoramic sunroof.

One last thing: all 2025 Wagoneer models add Jeep Off-Road Pages+ with Adventure Guides for the first time. The two-year trial of Off-Road Pages+, through the built-in app developed alongside Trails Off-Road, delivers 200+ off-road trail guides, including Jeep Badge of Honour trails in the U.S., downloadable maps, difficulty ratings and more.
Production of the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer Overland Special Edition is limited to 2,000 units for North America. All-inclusive Canadian pricing starts at $98,290.
