Porsche 911 Spirit 70 is Your New Collector Car From Stuttgart
Porsche is introducing another special edition of the 911 from the Heritage Design series. Based on the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet and limited to 1,500 units worldwide, the new 911 Spirit 70 embodies the essence of the 1970s and early 1980s.
As a reminder, the first model in the series was the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition presented in 2020 in the style of the 1950s and early 1960s. It was followed in 2022 by the 911 Sport Classic, which revived the style of the 1960s and early 1970s.

The designers and paint experts at Porsche have created a unique body colour, Olive Neo, specifically for the 911 Spirit 70. A Bronzite finish on the lower rear section, front section and the Sport Classic wheels in ‘Fuchs’ design provide contrast. Meanwhile, the side decorative graphics with Porsche lettering and round start number field (‘Lollipop’) in black and individual start number are a nod to the brand's sporting tradition.

The soft top is black, as is the windshield frame and the three decorative stripes that run across the front hood. This detail is reminiscent of the safety stickers that drivers in the 1970s applied to the bodies of their fast cars to make them easier to see in the rear-view mirror at high speeds on the highway or a race track. Don’t miss the Porsche crest that’s almost identical to the historic crest from 1963, or the gold-coloured Porsche lettering and the model designation at the rear.
Inside the 911 Spirit 70, the black/Olive Neo colour scheme comes to life with the iconic Pasha pattern (different-sized, cleverly arranged rectangles create a kind of moving checkered flag) on the centre panels of the 18-way sports seats Plus, the door mirrors and even the inside of the glove compartment. The decorative inlays on the seat backrests and the trim on the dashboard are also available in Pasha as an option.

Elsewhere, the instrument cluster’s high-resolution 12.65-inch display has white pointers and scale lines in analogue format. Green digits are reminiscent of the legendary Porsche 356 and the model lettering is integrated into the digital tachometer. White hands and green numerals also characterize the special version of the Sport Chrono stopwatch.
Just like every other 911 Carrera GTS, this one features Porsche’s new hybrid system combining a newly developed 3.6-litre boxer engine with an electric motor for a total of 532 horsepower and 449 lb-ft of torque.

The 911 Spirit 70 can be ordered immediately starting at $256,900 in Canada. It is expected to arrive in dealerships in the second half of the year. Oh, by the way, there’s a range of matching collector's items including daywear, sportswear, lifestyle accessories and model vehicles in case you’d want to enjoy the full experience.
