2026 Toyota GR86 Yuzu is Another Sharp, Colourful Addition
imilar to the Subaru BRZ, which added a Murasaki Edition for 2025, the Toyota GR86 always has something special in store for enthusiasts. Following 2024’s TRUENO Edition and 2025’s Hakone Edition, here comes the new 2026 GR86 Yuzu.

Based on the GR86 Premium and blessed with a unique body kit, the new model sports 18-inch black wheels and other black exterior accents. It’s the opposite inside, where the black interior features yellow accents such as yellow stitching on the steering wheel, door panels and black Ultrasuede sport seats.
The GR86 Yuzu also boasts Brembo brakes and Sachs dampers giving it more bite and sharper handling especially during track driving. The former use red-painted callipers with four pistons in the front and two pistons in the rear, while the latter are filled with high-pressure nitrogen and oil to better absorb vibrations across a wide range of speeds, maximize ground contact and ensure firm, stable steering.
Don’t look for changes to the naturally aspirated 2.4-litre flat-four engine, which still generates 228 horsepower along with 184 lb-ft of torque. However, there’s a new cat-back exhaust system with GR-branded, silver-coloured tips. That’s cool.
The 2026 Toyota GR86 will arrive in Canadian dealerships this fall, but you’d better hurry if you want a copy of the Yuzu special edition—only 30 will be available nationwide. Pricing details are still a few months away.
