2026 Toyota GR Supra MkV Final Edition to Be Different in Canada
Remember the GR Supra A90 Final Edition that was announced last fall? The one limited to 300 units for Japan and Europe? Good news: Toyota Canada has something similar in store for the 2026 model year.
Bad news: Canadian customers will be denied the more powerful engine that delivers 429 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. The turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder will continue to generate 382 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque. The rest of the car will be somewhat different, too.

Still, we can expect improved braking performance, an updated suspension, increased body rigidity, optimized tuning and enhanced aerodynamics. More specifically, changes include refined differential control and exclusive control maps that reduce understeer, larger Brembo brake discs for shorter braking distances, and a revised camber angle of the front and rear wheels providing more bite when cornering.

Revised electronically controlled shock absorbers, reinforced suspension bushings and mounts, as well as a stronger front stabilizer bar are also part of the mix. The new 19-inch matte black wheels are mounted on Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. In the rear, instead of a raised wing, the Canadian-bound GR Supra MkV Final Edition sports a glossy carbon fibre ducktail spoiler.
Inside, look for a mix of leather and Alcantara seating surfaces along with various red accents (stitching, seatbelts, highlights around the gear shift knob). There’s a GR cupholder cover, and each customer will receive a camo car cover.

We’re intrigued by the optional GT4 style pack that comes in two new exclusive matte colours (extra cost) with side graphics inspired by the GR Supra GT4 EVO2 race car, matte-finished ducktail rear spoiler and red-painted mirror caps.
The 2026 Toyota GR Supra will arrive in Canadian dealerships this spring, just in time for driving season. Pricing will be announced closer to launch. The company has not yet said how many units of the MkV Final Edition will be available in Canada. This much is certain: production of the fifth-gen GR Supra for global markets will end in the spring of 2026.
