The Mercedes-Benz GLE is a perfect example of a comprehensive lineup in the midsize SUV segment. In addition to conventional and coupe body styles, it offers a wide range of powertrains, starting with a turbocharged four-cylinder featuring mild hybrid technology, moving up to a plug-in hybrid system and finishing off with a pair of AMG engines, the most powerful of which delivers up to 603 hp. Alas, expensive options and packages can bump the GLE’s price quite a bit.
