Despite its smaller size, it remains a practical and dependable midsize SUV with seating for seven. Gas-powered models feature a turbocharged 2.4-litre engine that can tow up to 5,000 lbs. The Highlander Hybrid’s towing capacity drops to 3,500 lbs, but fuel consumption is significantly better at a combined 6.7 L/100 km.
