Mansory Takes On Cybertruck, Madness Ensues
The Tesla Cybertruck is the poster child for polarizing automotive designs. Some owners and tuners have tried their hand at changing its looks with colored wraps, new rims and various accessories, not to mention police departments that have adapted a few to their patrol fleets.
Well, here's arguably the most shocking transformation yet. Unsurprisingly, it's the work of German tuner Mansory, which is well known for overdoing things and lacking a little bit of taste—or a lot, depending on who you ask.

It starts with the wheels. Not that they're awful—on the contrary, they wouldn’t look out of place on a Rolls-Royce Black Badge Cullinan—but they're 26 inches in diameter compared to the 20-inch wheels normally fitted to the Cybertruck.
Mansory then replaced some of the stainless steel body panels and more with forged carbon featuring a marble-like finish for a two-tone exterior. This is the case for much of the front fascia (with a vented hood thrown in for good measure), newly sculpted front and rear bumpers, rocker panels and fender extensions.
A similar treatment was given to the mirror caps, the new light bar on the roof, the strange vent-like body accents behind the side windows (plus the one on the tailgate), as well as the two small, funny-looking spoilers in the corners of the cargo bed. Customers also have the option of a high-gloss painted finish.
The equally outrageous cabin features extensive premium leather and carbon fibre trim in a combination of black, white and electric green—at least in the unit shown here. Other colour combinations are available, Mansory says.
Naturally, the powertrain is the one from the so-called Cyberbeast, the tri-motor configuration that generates a combined 845 horsepower and achieves 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 2.7 seconds in Performance Launch mode. Max towing capacity is rated at 4,990 kg (11,000 lbs).
Oh, and one last thing: Mansory's Cybertruck has a name, “Elongation”, which of course is a nod to Tesla boss Elon Musk. You know, just to add an extra layer of controversy.
