25 New Ram Products to Be Announced in Next 18 Months

Ram sales keep falling, with a 29-percent drop in Canada during the first quarter of 2025, and the brand’s full-size pickup (including both the Ram 1500 and Ram Heavy Duty) is largely responsible, of course.

Following the discontinuation of the Ram 1500 Classic, high prices are keeping many potential customers away. It’s no surprise Ram’s chief financial officer admitted that the company desperately needs a new, less expensive pickup.

In fact, the Ram lineup could use fresh blood and more variety. Well, that’s exactly what’s coming.

"There are 25 product announcements planned within the next 18 months, and it all starts June 8," CEO Tim Kuniskis wrote in a LinkedIn post. "I'm proud to be back, proud to be a part of this team, and more determined than ever to show the world ... nothing stops Ram."

The only other vehicle in the portfolio at the moment is the ProMaster van (and its electric variant). Obviously, not all 25 new products on the way will be standalone models. There will be new trims and special editions, among others.

We can already bank on the return of the HEMI V8 in the Ram 1500. Probably a new Ram 1500 TRX, too, or at least something that will slot above the six-cylinder Ram 1500 RHO.

Also confirmed is a new midsize pickup to be built in Illinois. We just don’t know when it will debut yet. This vehicle will do a lot of good to the company’s bottom line a full decade and a half after the departure of the Ram Dakota.

Meanwhile, the new Ram 1500 Ramcharger range-extending electric pickup will be available for consumer orders in the first half of 2025, while the fully electric Ram 1500 REV is now slated to launch in 2026.

Oh, and don’t forget that Kuniskis told Automotive News back in January that he’d like Ram to add a passenger van to its lineup at some point. Can you believe that?

So, the bottom line is, there’ll be plenty of action over at Ram between now and the end of 2026. Keep following The Car Guide to stay up-to-date.
